Gritty low-poly horror Mouthwashing was first announced for the PS5 all the way back in January 2025, but it’ll finally make its debut on Sony’s system next week.
Out on 29th October, the critically acclaimed fear-fest follows the “dying crew of a shipwrecked space freighter”.
The blurb reads:
“Who could have known what good ol’ Captain Curly was capable of? Guess he thought his crew dying alongside him was only right. But some men can’t even kill themselves properly. Maimed, limbless and unable to speak, but alive, Curly is now at the mercy of the crew he has doomed to a slow death.”

This game, with its PS1-inspired aesthetic, was a huge hit when it first launched on PC, attracting an 88 aggregate rating on Metacritic.
It should be the perfect pick-up before Halloween.
