Morgpie, the Twitch personality who once sparked the platform’s “nudity meta” by cleverly angling her camera to suggest nudity without actually revealing herself, has once again pushed the boundaries of what Twitch deems acceptable. The streaming service, owned by Amazon, has repeatedly tightened its terms of service to curb such tactics, yet Morgpie remains relentless in testing the limits.
During a May 24 broadcast of Dark Souls III, she turned her bare feet into a makeshift green‑screen backdrop, projecting the game onto them. This isn’t her first green‑screen stunt; a prior Fortnite session featured a similar setup on her posterior, prompting Twitch to revise its policies to forbid using intimate body parts as virtual backgrounds.
In this latest episode, she painted the soles of her feet to function as a green screen, branding the stream “Dark Soles” as a playful nod to both the FromSoftware title and the body part she was showcasing.
Following the broadcast, Morgpie announced on X that Twitch had temporarily suspended her channel. She later indicated that the “Dark Soles” playthrough would resume over the weekend once her channel was reinstated.
Twitch’s current terms of service still prohibit broadcasts that spotlight “intimate” body parts, explicitly naming buttocks, groin, and breasts. Curiously, the policy makes no reference to feet, suggesting that the platform may have flagged the recent stream under a broader definition of sexual content.
We have reached out to Twitch for a formal response and will keep readers informed as soon as we receive any comments. Regardless of the outcome, the service has been revising its terms in reaction to Morgpie’s broadcasts for years, and it feels as though the goal posts are in constant motion. It wouldn’t be surprising if Twitch introduces a new clause addressing prolonged focus on feet in the near future.
