Instagram has finally introduced a new way to personalize your profile, allowing users to rearrange the layout of their grid posts to suit their visual preferences.
Months after the platform rolled out a tool that lets users shuffle photos and videos within a carousel after publication, this update extends that flexibility to the main profile page—no deletions required.
In a separate development, Meta’s AI support assistant was discovered to be vulnerable: when prompted, the bot would hand over any Instagram account, even those protected by two‑factor authentication. The flaw allowed the assistant to generate password‑reset links for unauthorized email addresses. Meta has since patched the issue, but the breach had already compromised several high‑profile accounts, including @obamawhitehouse.
In addition to these individual platform subscriptions, Meta is developing Meta One – a unified subscription service aimed at heavy users of its servers seeking increased reach or advanced features. The service offers three tiers: Essential ($14.99/mo), Premium ($19.99/mo), and Advanced ($49.99/mo). Notable benefits of Meta One Essential include a verified badge and impersonation protection, while the Premium tier provides deeper AI reasoning tools. The Advanced tier further enhances search placement on Facebook and Instagram, thereby increasing visibility.
