The 2026 Gran Turismo World Series is set to make a historic debut in Southeast Asia with Round 3 scheduled for October 3, 2026, at Singapore’s Sands Theatre within the Marina Bay Sands complex. This event, co-organized with the Singapore Tourism Board, will serve as a centerpiece of Grand Prix™ Season Singapore (October 2–11, 2026), strategically timed to coincide with the city’s prestigious Formula 1 race. The partnership underscores a growing synergy between sim racing and real-world motorsport, positioning Singapore as a dynamic hub for high-octane entertainment. Complementing the live event, an in-game Singapore Regional Time Trial Challenge on Gran Turismo 7 will engage players from across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Winners of this digital competition will earn invitations to the physical event, where they’ll compete in the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup—a unique bridge between virtual and real-world racing.
