Bulkhead has revealed how rain will change gameplay in bağlantı”>Wardogs Season 2, which launches on October 15.
The second season of content arrives next week and adds rain to the game. This is not dynamic weather—players should not expect sunshine one minute and storms the next. Matches that include rain will experience rainfall for the entire time, from start to finish.
According to a report by Cade Onder for IGN, senior producer Kane Allard confirmed to IGN that rain “completely changes the game,” adding that some players may not like the addition.

“It completely changes the game, and it’s going to be positive for some players. It’s going to be negative for others. Your play styles might be affected. That’s okay.”
Kane Allard, senior producer at Bulkhead
Allard continued: “It’s not like every map’s going to be permanently rain. It’s just going to be almost like a different game mode, so to speak. [It] could be that some people really love rain, some people really hate rain based on how you want to play. But it does bring a lot.”
The changes are drastic. The map becomes darker and visibility worsens—one developer reportedly lost his sense of direction because he wasn’t used to the way the map looked.
Storms cause thunder, which can be strategically used to mask gunfire or other loud noises. Raindrops make different sounds based on the surfaces they hit, including rooftops and helmets. Windows will fog up, though it is unclear whether that makes players less visible when hiding in buildings. The team has also accounted for destruction: if a roof is destroyed, players inside are exposed to the rain.
Bulkhead isn’t ruling out other weather effects, but it must consider how something like snow would change both gameplay and performance. CEO Joe Brammer noted that nighttime would bring obvious changes—adding flashlights, NVGs, and lasers—but said more content may take some time to arrive.

Ign has covered plenty more on Wardogs, including Bulkhead’s explanation of why the blue team loses more, a new gambling mechanic for Season 2, and word of a next-gen port.
