Nintendo’s latest Indie World Showcase revealed new looks at a dozen new games coming to Xbox. From release dates for Xbox Game Pass titles, to brand new premieres, there was plenty to smile about.

A lot of these announcements were Nintendo-centric, but many of the games were independently confirmed for Xbox in the future. So, we thought we’d highlight all 12 of them with supplementary descriptions, release windows and trailers.

Alrighty then, here’s everything confirmed for Xbox during October’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase:

Witchbrook – Xbox Game Pass (January 28, 2027)

Discover magic and mystery in Witchbrook, a spellbinding witch life-sim for up to 4-players. Start your life as the newest resident witch in the bustling seaside town of Mossport. Make friends, find love, and discover a world filled with wonder and charm on the road to graduation and beyond!

Sword of the Sea (October 29, 2026)

Surf across magnificent waves of sand and glistening waters on an epic quest to restore a lost ocean in Sword of the Sea. From the visionary artist behind ABZÛ, The Pathless, and Journey – Sword of the Sea is an atmospheric surfing adventure with highspeed Hoversword movement inspired by skateboarding and snowboarding.

Threads of Time (Summer 2027)

Threads of Time is an era-spanning, turn-based RPG inspired by the timeless classics. Embark on a journey through time, gather a party of charismatic heroes from across ages, and uncover a plot that threatens to unravel the past, present and future.

Dumpster Gang – Console Release (March 2027)

Play as a gang of mischievous raccoons in this chaotic co-op sandbox for 1-4 players. Complete ridiculous missions, steal everything you can carry, and outsmart a relentless Exterminator determined to throw your gang behind bars.

Super Battle Golf (March 25, 2027)

An online 1-8 player golf game where everyone plays at the same time. Swing, shoot, sabotage, and finish first by any means necessary in a free-for-all rush to the hole.

Haunted Paws (May 2027)

A cozy and spooky co-op adventure where two puppies rescue their owner from a haunted mansion. Customize your puppy, solve puzzles together, and defeat evil creatures. Play locally or invite a friend for free with Friend’s Pass.

My Arms Are Longer Now (March 11, 2027)

You are a yucky long-armed thief. Snake through levels, retract like a vacuum cord, or put on a sock to seduce a lonely guard – whatever it takes to pull off the perfect heist!

Raccoin: Chaos Max Edition (November 10, 2026)

RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike blends the chaotic fun of classic arcade coin pushers with the element of roguelike deckbuilding. Combine special coins with powerful items to trigger satisfying synergies. It’s a nonstop dopamine rush packed into one unpredictable, coin dropping ride.

Tanuki: Pon’s Summer – Xbox Game Pass (November 10, 2026)

Hop on your BMX and deliver letters and packages to the quirky inhabitants of TANUKI’s fictional Japanese island. Packages vary in size, weight, and shape so it’ll be up to you to strategise how you approach each delivery.
