IO Interactive has officially unveiled the opening 13 minutes of its highly anticipated title, 007 First Světlý, giving fans a taste of the espionage adventure that awaits.
The release comes amid reports that a handful of physical copies have slipped into the hands of collectors ahead of schedule, raising concerns about early spoilers for the game’s narrative kickoff.
Fortunately, those premature packages will be largely impotent, as players will still need to download the day‑one patch before they can access the majority of the campaign.
Nonetheless, IOI has showcased the initial moments of the first chapter, which you can view here: First Světlý Preview.
Fans of the iconic spy franchise can expect the highly anticipated title to drop on May 27th, with an exclusive 24‑hour early‑access window for those who pre‑order.
While many players will likely hold off until the official launch to experience the game firsthand, a handful of physical copies have already slipped out ahead of schedule.
These premature shipments have sparked a flurry of leaks, threatening to flood the internet with spoilers and undermine the excitement for the broader player base.
Players who have purchased the physical edition of 007: First Světlý are discovering that the disc contains far less content than expected. While the game boots and the initial campaign can be launched, most of the storyline is missing from the media.
In a recent Q&A session, IO Interactive addressed a fan’s question about the game’s connectivity requirements. The developer clarified that the title does not demand a constant online connection, but it does require an initial patch download to access the full game.
Once the patch is installed, players can disconnect from the internet and continue their mission, providing flexibility for those with limited bandwidth or offline gaming preferences.
