In the grim world of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, players often find themselves facing not only hordes of ravenous rats but also intricate puzzles that test their wit and observation skills. One such challenge awaits you in Chapter 4, “From Hell It Rose,” a maze puzzle that initially seems daunting but yields to careful examination.
Unveiling the Hidden Maze
Around halfway through Chapter 4, you’re confronted with what appears to be a simple stone relief. However, don’t be fooled! The key to solving this puzzle lies in revealing the full extent of the maze. Initially, only a small section is visible. This is where your Light Reveal ability comes into play. By using it, you’ll discover that the seemingly static relief is actually a complex network of blue lines forming a true labyrinth.
Deciphering the Symbols
Once the full maze is revealed, you’re presented with another layer of complexity: four distinct symbols etched onto nearby pillars. These aren’t just decorative elements; they are integral to solving the puzzle. Two of these pillars are connected to rotating stone disks. Your objective is to rotate these disks until their faces align perfectly with the corresponding symbol on the pillar.
Specifically, the disk on the left features a beetle-shaped symbol (resembling an “O”), while the disk on the right displays a symbol composed of two horizontal lines and one vertical line, similar to an “F.” Aligning these disks correctly will unlock the next stage of your journey.
Be warned! Successfully solving this Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy puzzle will trigger an encounter with a group of hostile soldiers. Prepare yourself for a tense battle as you progress through the chapter.
