Get ready to relive one of the most unforgettable episodes in television history! AMC’s critically acclaimed series, “Breaking Bad,” is heading back to the big screen with a special theatrical event. Fans can experience the adrenaline-fueled Season 4 finale, “Face Off,” like never before.
“Face Off”: A Night of Breaking Bad
Mark your calendars for September 7th! Alamo Drafthouse theaters will be hosting a one-night-only screening of “Face Off” in celebration of “Breaking Bad Day,” which coincides with Walter White’s birthday. This exclusive event offers fans the chance to witness the epic showdown between Walter and Jesse and their nemesis, Gus Fring, on the big screen. Tickets are available now, accompanied by a $10 food/drink voucher to enhance the cinematic experience. Click here for tickets.
Attendees will be treated to some awesome goodies! Imagine walking into the theater and receiving a Heisenberg hat, blue rock candy (a nod to the infamous product), Hector’s bell (a subtle reminder of his unique communication style), and even a Gus Fring half-face mask. It’s a truly immersive experience designed for hardcore “Breaking Bad” enthusiasts.
While this isn’t the first time the “Breaking Bad” universe has graced the big screen – “El Camino,” the sequel film focusing on Jesse Pinkman, enjoyed a limited theatrical release alongside its Netflix debut – it’s unlikely we’ll see another full-fledged “Breaking Bad” movie or TV series revival. Series creator Vince Gilligan is currently focused on “Pluribus,” a new Apple TV+ series featuring Rhea Seehorn, who played Kim Wexler in “Better Call Saul.”
Remember that time Vince Gilligan pitched a Breaking Bad-inspired game? It never materialized, sadly. And while Bob Odenkirk has hinted that more Saul Goodman content is only possible if set within a prison setting, it seems like the main characters’ stories have largely been told.
