Prepare to experience The City like never before with the introduction of a co-ed environment. For the first time, you can create a female MyPlayer and compete alongside your global community of hoopers. Crucially, all MyPlayers, male or female, are built on the same framework. Your height, badges, attribute ratings, and wingspan are determined by your MyPlayer build, not your appearance. This ensures fair competition across all game modes within The City, including The REC, The Theater, Street Kings, Park, Proving Grounds, Ante-Up, Starting Five, plus the all-new Crew HQ and Casual Corner. This is a huge step towards inclusivity in the 2K universe!

Fresh Environments to Dominate
The Rec, The Theater, Ante-Up, and Seasonal Parks are getting complete overhauls with brand-new environments. Based on community feedback, The REC now rotates randomly between five unique environments available right at launch: a High School Gym, an Outdoor Court, a Private Gym, a Crowded Arena, and a Season-Themed Venue. This keeps the experience fresh and exciting every time you step onto the virtual court.

Builder Customization & Badge Tokens: Craft Your Perfect Player
Get ready to fine-tune your player like never before with the introduction of Badge Tokens. In the Builder, you can see in real time how your selected size and position affect which Badges you qualify for and how many tokens each Badge will cost. The Builder provides invaluable feedback, showing you the exact tokens required as you adjust your attributes. There are 53 Badges in NBA 2K27, including 19 brand-new additions designed to create a more balanced playing field.

We took the foundation of MyNBA Eras and brought it directly into MyCareer, allowing you to insert your MyPlayer into the exact moments that defined basketball history. Compete across these legendary eras: The Magic vs. Bird Era, The Jordan Era, The Kobe Era, The LeBron Era, and The Steph Era.
Co-op MyCareer: Team Up with a Friend!
Get ready for some serious co-op action because you can now invite a friend with NBA 2K27 to play multiplayer directly in your MyCareer. This is made possible by your Running Mate, Trace Miller—a custom teammate you meet in the G League who stays with you all the way through your NBA career. When Trace is introduced, you choose one of nine build templates that feature shades of NBA superstars and earn points through gameplay to upgrade his attributes, Badges, and playstyle. Your co-op partner takes control of Trace exactly as you’ve built him, and you both earn your own separate, full amounts of VC and Season XP.
