Dead by Daylight Welcomes Jason Voorhees in June Update

Dead by Daylight is set to welcome the legendary slasher Jason Voorhees as a new killer, with the update slated to drop on 17 June in Australia.

Behaviour Interactive teased the addition with a chilling announcement: “The mask is on. The machete is dripping. The massacre has begun.” The teaser video, now embedded below, sets the tone for the impending horror.

Details on Jason’s unique abilities and how he will fit into the asymmetrical gameplay remain scarce, but a larger livestream showcasing the killer is scheduled for 15 June, just in time for the global Summer Game Fest.

Jason has already made appearances across various gaming titles, from MultiVersus and Mortal Kombat X to his own now‑shuttered asymmetrical horror series. He also features in the beloved Friday the 13th Killer Puzzle, a testament to his enduring popularity.
