Alien: Isolation Sequel Confirmed – Prepare for Legs-Shaking Terror!

Imagine spending hours confined within a steel locker, holding your breath as the motion sensor flickers ominously in a pale and threatening green. A chilling experience we’ve longed for the gods of gaming to grant us once more. After twelve long years, Creative Assembly and SEGA have finally heeded our pleas. Officially confirmed during the Summer Game Fest 2026, they announced the development of Alien: Isolation 2, leaving us on edge with anticipation.

This time we bid farewell to Amanda Ripley and the old Sevastopol station for a completely new setting. The story takes us to a remote planet ravaged by constant and brutal storms. Here we will traverse the frozen surface and, to ramp up the tension, explore the claustrophobic corridors of the Kurosaki station, owned by the ineffable corporation Weyland-Yutani (clearly the worst company in the universe to send a resume).

In terms of gameplay, the title doesn’t forget that, besides creating an atmosphere that will make our hair stand on end, we also need to press buttons and that it should be fun. The gameplay will once again focus on stealth, improvisation, and scavenging debris to craft survival tools in a deadly game of cat and mouse. However, the creative director, Al Hope, has already warned us that the xenomorph has become considerably more intelligent. Additionally, the planet’s climate will directly affect our tactics, and the chances of surviving are minimal. The game can now be added to the wishlist for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Owners of Nintendo Switch 2 need not worry: it lands on this platform a little later.
