During Sony’s State of Play event, Remedy Entertainment stunned the audience with a brand‑new trailer for Control Resonant. The short teaser even spotlights Jesse Faden for a fleeting moment, confirming her return in the sequel even as the spotlight shifts to a new protagonist.

The footage plunges viewers into a fresh supernatural crisis engulfing Manhattan. With Jesse missing, the Federal Bureau of Control turns to her brother, Dylan Faden, to confront a novel, otherworldly threat—an emerging form of resonance that rivals the Hiss and the Mold.

In a departure from the original’s gun‑centric combat, Dylan harnesses gravity‑manipulation powers and wields a versatile melee weapon called Aberrant. The weapon can morph between hammers, scythes, fists, and more, allowing players to tailor its form and abilities to their playstyle.
