In the final scene, protagonist Abe sits beside his Mudokon allies Alf and Toby, disclosing a startling revelation: his mother, Sam, is actually the matriarch of all Mudokons who escaped RuptureFarms.

Abe confides that he knows Sam is alive, residing in the Glukkon capital of Nolybab, and expresses a burning desire to travel there to uncover the reasons behind her abandonment and the mysterious act of stitching his lips together.

Oddworld Inhabitants has dropped a tantalizing hint in a fresh promotional clip: after the usual concluding screen, an additional panel flashes the words “Part 3 coming.”
