At the recent GTC Taipei technological conference, NVIDIA and Microsoft unveiled the RTX Spark processor, a new “superchip” based on Arm architecture that will integrate native anti-cheat support to run titles such as Fortnite, VALORANT, and PUBG directly. This groundbreaking advance aims to empower the market of portable and compact computers, addressing the longstanding limitation of this technology that relied on emulation processes to open traditional Windows applications.

By forging a strategic alliance, both companies aim to eliminate once and for all the structural incompatibility with online gaming security software. Since these shields operate at the deepest system level to avoid cheats, their functions could not be emulated by Arm processors and completely blocked access to multiplayer games. Thanks to this technical collaboration with various software companies, the RTX Spark platform will now have native support for these games and applications to function directly and without generating conflicts in the Windows environment.

The RTX Spark integrates a 20‑core Grace CPU with a Blackwell GPU boasting 6,144 CUDA cores, delivering over 100 frames per second at 1440p. This all‑in‑one chip rivals the performance of an RTX 5070, while still supporting NVIDIA’s flagship technologies such as Ray Tracing and DLSS.

To overcome the challenges posed by the Arm architecture, NVIDIA partnered directly with leading software developers to embed native anti‑cheat support into major industry security systems, including Easy Anti‑Cheat, BattlEye, and Denuvo. Following this deep technical integration on Windows, studios like Riot Games and KRAFTON have officially confirmed that their titles League of Legends and PUBG: Battlegrounds will run on the new platform.

First RTX Spark‑powered machines are slated to hit the market in September 2026. Catering to a range of budgets, the platform will be available in configurations ranging from 16 GB to 128 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory, and is set to appear in upcoming commercial devices from brands such as ASUS, MSI, HP, and the new Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra.
