Rayman Remake & Remaster Leak Before Official Reveal

Ubisoft is poised to unveil a fresh take on its beloved Rayman series, bringing classic platformers back to modern audiences.

Rumors surfaced when a brief listing appeared on the Xbox Store, hinting that a remastered version of the 2011 hit Rayman Origins is in development.

According to a now‑removed listing that was captured by social media users, the upcoming Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition will boast 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, along with a host of contemporary quality‑of‑life upgrades. The edition will also incorporate content that was previously exclusive to the PlayStation Vita version.

In addition to the Origins remaster, Ubisoft is reportedly working on a more ambitious overhaul of the 2013 title Rayman Legends. Dubbed Rayman Legends Retold, the project is being led by Ubisoft Montpellier and is slated for an October release.

In an exciting development, the upcoming iteration of Rayman is rumored to introduce an online multiplayer cooperative mode for up to four players simultaneously, marking a significant departure from the offline multiplayer-only feature in the original game.
