Game Overview & History

Space Bar is a sidescrolling shooter where you shoot down enemy aliens coming at you in random patterns! It’s a Sharecart1000-compatible game created for the Teacart 1k Game Jam. Share your save file with other Sharecart1000 games to make Space Bar have a different first run of the game!

How to Play:

Gameplay Mechanics & Systems

Movement: arrow keys
Shoot/Start game: space barUse bomb to clear screen: left shift
Enter name: type on the keyboard!
Confirm name: enter key

Updates:

3/1/2015: Bombs have been added! Screen shakes when the player gets hit2/26/2015: Handled invalid save files, changed format of folders, music fix, player lives added
2/25/2015 (10:30PM): Fixed game-breaking bugs
2/25/2015: Boss added! …Not much of a boss, though haha
2/24/2015: Bigger enemies have been added! They take a few hits before going down.
