Earlier this month, speculation about GTA 6‘s PC release timeline resurfaced after a report mentioned the first quarter of 2027. While that seemed too good to be true, an analyst has now shared their estimate, not only giving a more concrete timeline but also a seemingly more realistic one.
Now, analyst Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities has claimed the game will come out on PC in six to seven months. This would put the PC release in May or June 2027. The analyst shared the information with BBC (via T5G) while talking about GTA 6 coming to the PS5.
That timeline is interesting for multiple reasons. Up till now, we’ve only heard of “first quarter” or “early 2027” estimates, but Pachter gave it a much more specific window. However, as mentioned earlier, GTA V PC took well over a year, so Rockstar rushing the PC launch for GTA 6 seems surprising.

On the other hand, another consideration is GTA 6 Online – or whatever it ends up being called. If Rockstar plans on releasing GTA 6 Online a couple of months after GTA 6 to keep the hype going, a PC release just four months after that would definitely ensure the world keeps talking about the game for at least six to eight months after its initial release.
