A clip from Star Wars: Galactic Racer has been circulating on gaming Twitter, featuring a player’s interaction with a character named Biddy Blas.

The character delivers a comedic monologue in which he boasts about himself, telling players to remember his name. In Huttese, Blas says: “Here’s a name for you, amateur! Biddy Blas. Write it down. Tattoo it on your arm, and someday your arm will be worth millions!”

The line has become popular among players, with the phrase “Biddy Blas! Scrib doon!” being widely shared online.

Posts of Blas introducing himself have gone viral to such an extent that they attracted the attention of Lucasfilm Games Producer Craig Derrick, who responded to the surge of interest on Twitter/X.

“It’s amazing to see so many people loving Galactic Racer!” he wrote. “Thank you for all the kind words! Every one of my social feeds is filled with posts about the game… while the algorithm continues to properly prioritize Mister Biddy Blas. I love it.”

Biddy Blas is a Crocin who, according to players, will do whatever it takes to win — even if that means offering an opponent a “gift” that is actually a bomb. Accepting the gift explodes the player’s ship and gives opponents a significant head start.

The character has become a subject of widespread discussion among fans, with some affectionately dubbing him the “glup shitto of the year.”

“I would like to say I’d die for Biddy Blas, but at the same time, I have also slammed him into a wall at like 500mph multiple times at this stage,” one fan joked.

“Biddy Blas is hilarious, I’m going to kill him,” another said after their speeder was blown up following acceptance of Blas’s “gift.”

Star Wars: Galactic Racer has received positive reception from both fans and critics, with IGN’s Luke Reilly scoring the game 8 out of 10.

“Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer that gets a little repetitive thanks to its heavy reliance on repeatedly revisiting the same slim selection of planets, but has successfully lit the afterburners on a long-dormant slice of the Star Wars universe,” he wrote in IGN’s review.

Developer Fuse Games recently announced that Galactic Racer’s multiplayer party limit will soon double in size through a post-launch patch scheduled to arrive within the next few weeks.
