The General Insurance is teaming up with Capcom and Los Angeles-based Vehicle Effects to recreate the destroyable car from Street Fighter II‘s bonus stage, giving fans a chance to win it along with more than $25,000 in gas money.
The game’s iconic bonus stage lets players beat “the literal brakes off” of a Lexus LS 400 within a time limit — a feature that has persisted throughout the series’ history. The scene is even referenced in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, with trailers showing Noah Centineo’s Ken Masters punching and kicking a car to bits amid a crowd of fans.
More than 30 years after its original release, the vehicle is coming to the real world through a collaboration between The General Insurance, Capcom, and Vehicle Effects — a company that builds custom vehicles for films and TV shows. According to a report by Virginia for IGN, Vehicle Effects has produced a recreation of the pixelated Lexus.

Fans have from October until November 18 to enter the sweepstakes, with a chance at winning both the car and $25,400.69 in gas money.
The Lexus LS 400 is widely considered one of the most “overengineered” cars ever made, featuring a 4.0-liter V8 engine nicknamed the “million-mile engine,” as pointed out by Eventhubs — and it’s the only component left behind after being destroyed in the bonus stage.
Beyond its pixelated paint job and upgraded sound system, the words “you” and “win” are emblazoned on both the driver’s and passenger headrests. A coin can be inserted to activate the seat warmers.
The Street Fighter movie releases in theaters on October 16, 2026. Earlier today, it was revealed that the film will feature animated segments exploring Ryu and Ken’s backstory with their master Gouken and Akuma.
