Announced in a PlayStation Blog post, the initiative requires prospective buyers to maintain a Japanese PlayStation Network account with a minimum of 60 hours of cumulative playtime logged between September 27, 2024, and September 27, 2026, a measure designed to deter scalpers from entering the drawing and reselling the hardware at inflated prices.
