Pokémon Company International and The Pokémon Company have today unveiled the first official card designs from Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution — Delta Reign, the next expansion in the trading card game’s ongoing lineup. The reveal, delivered via IGN, showcases three new cards — including the starter Sprigatito and both of its evolutions, Floragato and Meowscarada — ahead of the set’s November 6 launch. The expansion is expected to contain more than 135 designs, with additional Mega Evolution-themed creatures such as Mega Malamar, Mega Golurk, and Mega Rayquaza set to appear alongside the feline trio.
The announcement arrives at a pivotal moment for the franchise’s card game, which has struggled with supply and demand in recent months. This latest batch of Mega Evolution-themed cards arrives as the set’s predecessor, the Pokémon 30th Anniversary release, concluded just last week.
A Feline Evolution Line to Watch
The centerpiece of today’s reveal is the Grass Cat starter Sprigatito, whose card art depicts the creature settling down for a late morning nap on a trainer’s bed. Sprigatito carries 70 HP and a Play Rough attack, though the design notes suggest the move lacks a little punch in its current form.
