Young Voldemort Gets a New Face

Stepping into the role of Tom Riddle, also known as the young Lord Voldemort, is Billy Barratt. The 19-year-old actor, best known for his roles in Apple TV’s “Invasion” and the horror film “Bring Her Back,” will bring a chilling new dimension to this iconic character. He’s also slated to appear in the upcoming television adaptation of the popular game franchise, “Life Is Strange.” Barratt takes over from Christian Coulson, who previously portrayed the younger Voldemort in 2002’s “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.”

Dobby Gets a Digital Upgrade

Lenny Rush has been cast as Dobby the house-elf for season 2. The 17-year-old actor, known for his work on the comedy-drama series “Am I Being Unreasonable?” (for which he won a British Academy Television Award), will bring a fresh take on the beloved character. While Toby Jones voiced Dobby in the films, and the character was entirely CGI, Rush’s performance promises to be equally memorable.

Ginny Weasley Enters a New Era

Bonnie Hill is taking over the role of Ron Weasley’s sister, Ginny, for season 2. Gracie Cochrane played Ginny in the first season of HBO’s “Harry Potter.” Hill previously starred in Netflix’s “The Six Triple Eight” and “Girl Troop vs Aliens,” where she also portrayed a character named Ginny. Bonnie Wright originally brought Ginny Weasley to life on the big screen.
