Steam Machine to Launch This Summer, Valve Confirms

Valve has officially announced that its Steam Machine—a console‑style PC—and the Steam Frame VR headset will both launch this summer, as confirmed in a fresh blog post on the Steam website.

In the same update, the company revealed that its Verified certification program will now extend to the Steam Machine and Steam Frame, allowing players to see at a glance whether a title is compatible with these new devices.

Despite the excitement, Valve stopped short of disclosing exact launch dates or pricing. This omission comes at a time when cost is a critical factor for the Steam Machine’s potential success, especially after the recent $200 price hike for the Steam Deck’s handheld PC.
