Fans of the iconic franchise have received a surprising early glimpse: the launch window for Star Wars Zero Company has been disclosed before its official announcement at Summer Game Fest.
Originally unveiled at the Star Wars Celebration in April 2025, the title is a single‑player, turn‑based strategy experience crafted by Bit Reactor in partnership with Respawn Entertainment, with Electronic Arts taking on publishing responsibilities.
During the main showcase at Summer Game Fest, the event’s official X account confirmed that the world premiere of Star Wars Zero Company will be streamed on Friday, offering a live look at the game’s mechanics and narrative.
Prior to this announcement, seasoned Dealabs contributor billbil‑kun—renowned for consistently delivering accurate previews of upcoming software and hardware—publicly revealed the game’s release date, adding an extra layer of anticipation for the fanbase.
In an exclusive scoop, it has been revealed that the highly anticipated title, Star Wars: Zero Company, is slated for release on August 27 across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
As per insider reports, the game will be available in two editions – a Standard Edition priced at $49.99 for PC users and $59.99 for console gamers, and a digital-only Deluxe Edition costing $59.99 on PC and $69.99 on consoles. Interestingly, players who opt for the physical Standard Edition can also upgrade to the Deluxe Edition at an additional cost.
Although details about the Deluxe Edition are yet to be disclosed, it has been confirmed that there will be no early access for this game. Originally billed as a gritty and authentic story set during the twilight of the Clone Wars, Star Wars: Zero Company is generating significant anticipation among fans.
In the latest Star Wars strategy release, players assume command of Hawks, a seasoned former Republic officer who leads a diverse, elite squad of operatives from across the galaxy. Together, they must set aside their differences and confront an emerging menace that threatens to engulf the entire galaxy if left unchecked.
“Star Wars Zero Company invites players to embark on a campaign of tactical operations and investigations spanning the galaxy,” the description notes. “Between missions, they’ll build a base of operations and gather intelligence through a network of informants, staying one step ahead of Zero Company’s adversaries.”
Players will also enjoy the freedom to assemble and customize their own squad of recruited operators, while getting to know a cast of newly authored Star Wars characters that enrich the universe and deepen the strategic experience.
