After a successful run on the Nintendo Switch, the battle-centric Pokémon game, Pokémon Champions, is set to make its debut on mobile platforms in the near future. The announcement was made by The Pokémon Company, revealing that the game will be available for download on iOS and Android devices starting from June 17th. Pre-registrations for the mobile version are now live.
In celebration of this cross-platform expansion, players who log into the game between its launch date and September 2nd will receive a special reward – a Raichu along with its two Megastones, Raichunite X and Y. These rewards will be delivered to your in-game mailbox following your first login during the event period.
For those curious about the abilities of these Mega ‘mon, Mega Raichu X boasts Electric Surge, while Mega Raichu Y carries the No Guard ability. These additions are sure to enrich the gaming experience for both new and existing players.
Following a rocky launch on the Nintendo Switch in April, Champion’s developer, TPC, is set to refine and enhance the game for a relaunch. The revamped version promises to address the issues that marred its initial release, including convoluted monetization, subpar performance, and puzzling bugs.
The exact release date for the improved version has yet to be announced, but eager players can expect a more polished gaming experience once it becomes available.
With the refinements in place, Champions may now offer an engaging and rewarding strategy game that lives up to its potential. The revamped edition could pave the way for TPC’s future titles and demonstrate their commitment to delivering quality experiences to their audience.
