A new remaster collection featuring the first three titles of the iconic Hitman franchise has been officially unveiled.
During the IO Interactive Showcase, the Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered was announced, with Saber Interactive spearheading the project. The compilation is slated for release across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms in 2027.
The set will include polished versions of Hitman: Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, and Hitman: Contracts, each boasting upgraded graphics that can be toggled on or off, a fresh Photo Mode, and additional enhancements.
This marks Saber Interactive’s latest foray into remastering, following their work on Tomb Raider I‑III, Tomb Raider IV‑VI, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and the Switch port of The Witcher 3.
The latest trailer for the Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered offers no gameplay footage, yet the handful of screenshots released reveal a significant visual overhaul. The developers have swapped out flat, 2D background elements for fully modeled 3D environments, giving the classic missions a fresh, immersive look.
According to the official description, the trilogy will be reintroduced on contemporary platforms while preserving the core systems, tone, and player‑driven freedom that have made Hitman a benchmark in stealth gameplay.
