Gamer24h Editor's Take

Put under the Gamer24h team's microscope, SJD Selective Memory Erase Effect raises the bar considerably with both its storytelling and technical polish. Developer nekomuragames has done a remarkable job of drawing players into its world, earning our admiration with its attention to detail. Masterfully blending Platformer mechanics with modern standards, the game's fluid gameplay makes hours fly by unnoticed. All in all, the Gamer24h team stands firmly behind our rating. This is a unique journey you won't want to miss.

An atmospheric platformer where you fight weird monsters that keep on claiming they’re part of an operating system.

With 9 worlds to conquer and over 40 levels to discover, SJD: Selective Memory Erase Effect is inspired by classic console titles, books and movies too numerous to mention, delivered in authentic 256*256 resolution in 256 colors and designed for practice-to-improve style of playing.

Note: this game does not support saving, but there are unlimited continues which only reset ingame points. Please test whether the game runs on your computer by downloading the free tech demo archive first.

The game has a few screen modes, if the default one renders incorrectly (at the start of the level there is a thin gap between tiles in the middle of the screen, or other tiles render with a gap between them etc), switch the video mode by pressing F10 (this also resets the game!).

Some controllers get a slight delay or do not get registered properly – please use keyboard if this happens on your computer.
